Dig Deep Roots

Classes begin Wednesday, September 4th! Logos is a series of Bible classes taught by leaders of River City. The goal of Logos is to equip you and provide you a strong biblical foundation. There are a variety of classes, so you can find a class no matter where you are on your journey with Jesus.

 

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word (logos) of truth.”

We currently offer six classes. It is recommended that classes follow a specific order for the best experience. Please see the description, and recommended order, below: 

Start with either one of our foundational classes: 

BIBLE MADE SIMPLE

Bible Made Simple is a great introduction and overview of the Word. If you're new to Logos at River City, you can start with this class!

ELEMENTS

Elements helps you grow in your biblical understanding while learning practical lifestyle application. This two-semester course is a great place to start! ($20 for books)

Then build upon those foundations with any of our other classes: 

Exploring God's Word

Exploring God's Word provides a deeper study of the Word. You will learn about the continuity of the entire Bible.

Teacher: Terrell Wooden

Search for Truth

Search for Truth is an in-depth study of the Word. This course encompasses the previous four classes into one class.

Teacher: Steve Dolezel

Apologetics

Apologetics will biblically equip you to defend your faith and respond to culture’s most pressing questions. ($15 for book)

Teacher: Jonathan Hiesberger

Things Christians Ought To Do 

A well rounded course designed to teach the word of God and how to properly read and divide it. It gives insights into context of scripture, including the proper application of biblical living and salvation.
